Hand washing song
The lockdown in Belgium is heading to its end. But physical distance and especially washing your hands will stay important for a long time. This catchy song - in Dutch - makes sure children won't forget this important rule.
For this song, children from children's choirs and schools in Antwerp sang and played apart together. Every child recorded the song at home. Among the participants were also three MoSaIC-artists: Mirjam de Wit wrote text and music, Moufadhel Adhoum recorded a joyful ud line and Greet Wielemans played percussion, mouth harp and sent in backing vocals.
The song was launched on the day that half of the children in primary schools were allowed back to school after 2 months of COVID-19-lockdown: 15th of May.
Although it's in Dutch, we are sure you will sing along the tune easily. Enjoy!
