Atmospheric songs

  • Voices: SSA
  • Age: 16-20y
  • Difficulty: level B

In this atelier, we will wander in the mysterious twilight between sunset and sunrise. A source of inspiration to many poets and composers. Imagine lying in the grass on a summer's night and looking up at the moonlit sky. Stars, the planets, birds flying overhead, and the faraway cry of mystical creatures of the night.  We wiIl sing works for SSA and piano by renowned international composers and one or two by exciting young Flemish composers, such as Vigdis Hansa Elst and Hans Helsen. The lyrics will mainly be in English. It will be an atmospheric, yet challenging program...  Will you take up the challenge?
