More info

The Study tour is a full day program. In the mornings you visit ateliers, observe and discuss, led by experienced guides Inge Sykora (BE) and Linas Balandis (LT). The afternoons are filled with interesting talks with the atelier leaders, workshops, repertoire sessions etc. Some of the topics: the didactic methods used by each atelier conductor, the choral practices in various countries, new trends in repertoire for children and performance. Study tour participants also attend en discuss some of the choir-to-choir concerts and Open Singings. We will publish a detailed program closer to the festival. Read more in the FAQ.

If you are part of a participating choir, you can indicate on the participation list that you will join the study tour.If you come without choir you can use the specific registration form for the study tour. You can take festival meals if you want. Festival accommodation for study tour participants is possible in the low budget boarding schools or you can find accommodation yourself.
We provide music scores as work copies (to be returned after the study tour). There is also a possibility to buy all or some original scores.
